Pricing for location video coverage

Location shoot

A location shoot is just that. Here is where we collect the video for anything from a music performance, to a business seminar or traning session, or just about any other purpose. In order to get the video in a form that useful for creating multimedia presentations or DVDs, additional processes would be required. More on that in a momemt. You have the option to purchase just the shoot portion, and have your own media producer do the work, or perhaps delay post production to another time. Perhaps you just need a video record of a particular event, and no more. Then this would be all you need. You would receive the DV tape immediatly after the shoot.

Location video coverage includes up to two hours

(Includes one hour post production)

Includes:
• wireless lavalier microphone
• Wired or wireless hand held microphone (Shure SM58)
• On camera light system
• On camera shotgun
• Manfrotto tripod system
• Up to one hour of post production included

Price: $300 (weekend rates vary – contact us for a quote)

Additional hours of coverage: $100

Second camera operator: $200 (inlcudes two hours $100 per hour for each additional hour)

YouTube Special

You can have your video on YouTube for as little as $200 when captured at our location.

Post production

Here’s where the video recorded on location is processed into another form, edited if needed, titles and music may be added, graphics and so on. Your needs may be basic, or you may envision something much more elaborate. These fees would also apply if you provided us with video from a previous recording that you would like to have produced into a DVD or other form. We are happy to provide a quote to meet your needs.

Post production is billed at a rate of $80 per hour

Travel considerations

The above fees cover the greater Austin Texas area. We have covered events throughout the state and beyond. If you need video coverage outside of the Austin area, we’ll be happy to let you know if a travel fee would apply.
