Frequently Asked Questions
How do I arrange my photographs?
This is entirely up to you. We
recommend that you separate your photos in two or three groups. For
example, a Love Story Video would typically have a segment for photos of the
bride from child to adult, the groom from child to adult, and finally a
segment of photos of both the bride and groom. You may used envelopes
to separate your groups. If you wish to have images presented in a
particular order, we recommend tiny sticky notes. While we don't
encourage writing on the back of your photographs, if you choose to do so,
use only a light pencil rather than a pen.
What about my 8mm movies and video?
Your films will be converted to video using a state-of-the-art process that
will insure the best possible quality. Notes may be used here as well to
indicate the order you wish them to appear. Even if you do not wish to have
your films edited, convert them as soon as possible. Film degrades with
time. Even if you do not use our services, do this as soon as possible!
VHS, Beta, Mini DV, DVD (Non Commercial) and other video formats may be
incorporated into your video. Additional charges will vary based on
the format of your video.
What is involved recording new video of family members?
If your family member is located in the Central Texas area, we can travel to
their location. In fact, we'll travel beyond, but expenses would be included
in our fee. We make every effort that each video shoot will be as
comfortable as possible. We utilize special miking and camera techniques to
insure professional results.
How much does it cost?
